A Unique Watch-Party
It sounds like a weird concept at first, but it is curated by Rocky Mountain Goat Yoga, the same group that goes goat yoga in the park. This event only has two dates left, May 22nd and the 29th, so make sure to get your tickets soon. They have screen a wide array of films, everything from Lady and the Tramp, to the Three Amigos and Jumanji, therefore there’s something out there for everyone no matter what genre you like to watch. Visitors are reminded to wear warm and comfortable clothing and to bring money for both goat and human snacks. Outside alcohol is not permitted at the venue. Also, you’ll be expected to bring your lawn chairs, blankets, and refreshments.
The event is taking place at the Four Mile Historic Park. This park is dedicated to Denver’s Western heritage and even features historically accurate replicas. Don’t be surprised to see horses, goats, chickens and pigs on the farm. There’s also the Four Mile House Museum on the premises, which is Denver’s oldest standing structure. The Park offers a variety of education programs, tours of the historic Four Mile House, and other events. Their Mission is to “educate a diverse community through experiences which promote preservation, interpretation and enjoyment of Denver’s Western heritage.”
