Spooky Decorations for the Entire Family

Disposable plastic spoons are great for creating Halloween decorations. Paint them black and add wings cut from matching black construction paper to make scary bats. Wrap them in spare toilet paper or ribbon to create a mummy. Or even simpler, use it as a base for folded white paper or tissue paper for a ghost. Since these are small, consider making a dozen and stringing them up all over the house. These are great because they’re easy for kids to make too.

Another great option that they kids can help with are windsocks. These can be made from a set of colorful cardstock and crepe paper. Put the kids in creative control when it comes to drawing the faces. These are great for simple bedroom décor or larger spaces like hung up along the eaves of your front porch. A way to make small ghoul figurines is by using the cardboard core of toilet paper rolls. You’ll have to start saving them a month or two before Halloween, but you’ll be glad you did. Simply pain them different colors and let the kids draw faces on them.
