Sharing The Whiskey Experience
If you sign up for The Whiskey Tasting, you’re going to be doing more than just getting tipsy; this is a theatre experience. What began in 2019 by director Amanda Berg Wilson and playwright David Jacobi on a commission from DCPA Off-Center has gone through a few different iterations. Originally it was a whiskey tasting for two audience members with one performer (your bartender). Due to the pandemic, the experience can now be enjoyed more safely from the comfort of your home.
Do you get a plus one? Here’s the logistics: The Whiskey Tasting experience can accommodate three screens with up to two audience members per screen, for no more than 6 audience members at a time. So invite your close friend group over, provided that no one feels under the weather. Or you can coordinate with your friends and buy all three screens for a shared evening in.
