Due to the pandemic, many venues are moving to virtual platforms so that they can still offer their holiday shows. However, even though costs for upkeep and security is lower with everyone enjoying shows from the their homes, show prices are not necessarily dropping. If you are looking for an inexpensive holiday show this year, Longmont Public Media has something for you!
You can’t get any cheaper than FREE. That’s right, Longmont is having a holiday show this year that will be live-streamed to Facebook, their website at Longmont Public Media.org, and the Local Comcast Channel 8/880 for free. The show, a fundraiser with local interests, will be broadcasted live from the Stewart Auditorium featuring a dozen musical acts over eight hours. The show will feature local musicians as they perform original tunes and holiday standards to help get Coloradans into the spirit of Christmas. You can also expect live interviews and guest visits. As you watch, don’t forget that the show is a fundraiser. They’ll be taking donations online and over the phone for the duration of the show in support of the Longmont Museum.
