Colorado Anime Fest

First off, what the heck is Anime? Cartoons for millennials to occupy their time with? Actually, anime is a diverse art form with distinctive production methods that have been adapted over time in response to emergent technologies. It combines graphic art, characterization, and cinematography for a unique viewing experience. Being hand-drawn, the stories found in anime can conform to the genre of fiction that traditional movies cannot. This is why they have grown so popular in the United States: anime provides an ideal path for escapism that audiences can immerse themselves into. Diverse art styles are used and character proportions can be quite varied, including characteristically large emotive eyes.

If you are a fan of anime, or just curious in what all the hubbub is about, you can visit the Colorado Anime Fest. Colorado Anime Fest was founded in 2014 by a group of friends with decades of combined experience. Weekend tickets are $45, a cost that goes to the event space, curators, and speakers that make the festival work smoothly. Also, the Colorado Anime Fest has donated $23,101 to local charities to date. This year, the event will be held from March 20-22 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center. Denver is a wonderful city that always has events going on all year. If you are interested in moving into the greater Denver metropolitan area, contact Mark Eibner today!
